Passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Pat (nee Noquet). Cherished father of Stephen (Sandra), Becci, Pam, Chris (Clare), Jenny (Dan Colonello) and Mathew (Stefanie). Loving grandfather of Meghan, Nicholas, Lucy, Jennifer, Thomas, Tabetha, Tatiana, Lucas and Carter. Brother of Jürgen, Bodo and the late Armin. Brother-in-law of Vicki Roi (predeceased by Lawrence) and the late Gerry. The family expresses gratitude to Dr. Greg Gaffney, Tammy, Bayshore Home Health and the PSW team for their care and compassion during a difficult time. A celebration of Eric’s life will be held at the Georgian Bay Hunter’s and Angler’s Club, 3175 Ogden’s Beach Road, Midland on Sunday, August 27th from 1-4 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Georgian Bay Hunters and Anglers or the Wye Marsh would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to LeClair Cremation Centre.
