Obituary for Emma Cyr
Cyr, Emma (nee Duguay) – died with her family by her side on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, 85 years old. Emma is survived by her husband of 53 years Normand Cyr, her son Dan (Lizzie) Cyr, her grandchildren Sara (Kevin Snake) Plain, Kim Parr, Joe Parr, Kirstyn Cyr, and Kiara Cyr, and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son David Parr (2010) and a daughter Judy Henderson (2017). Emma was the daughter of the late Rene and Albina Duguay, and was a sister to Roger (Marilza) Gervais and the late Lorraine St. John. Emma enjoyed playing Bingo, especially the meat bingo’s of the Petrolia Lions. A memorial service will be held from the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Visitors will be received on prior to service beginning at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to World Vision Canada (www.worldvision.ca).
