Obituary of Emily Loomis
Peacefully surrounded by her family at Chartwell Parkhill Long Term Care Residence on Thursday, December 28, 2017, Emily Pearl Loomis (nee Wernham) passed away at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Walter Loomis. Beloved mother of Gary (Eileen) Loomis, Pat (Bob) Nethercott and Margaret (Robert) Robinson. Survived by 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Mildred Young and Cora Draper and sister-in-law of Gussie Wernham. Predeceased by her siblings Mary (Morley) Pegg, Jack (Olive) Wernham, Ted Wernham and Lorne (Shelby) Wernham and brothers-in-law Harold Young and Roy Draper. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 2nd at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG 519-293-3331 from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Reverend Dawn Hill officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
