Obituary of Emily C. Sheppard
Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, October 19, 2017, Emily Cavell Sheppard of Bay Roberts; formerly of Harbour Grace South, age 83 years. Predeceased by husband: Graham; brothers: Harold (Rita), Herbert (Nellie), Gordon (Marjorie), Lewis, Victor (Viola); sisters: Evelyn (Herman) and Bessie (George); son-in-law: Jim Wehrle; sister-in-law: Ina March. Leaving to mourn, five daughters: Debbie (Ben) Charters, Grand Manann, NB, Kathy Wehrle, and Cheryl (Gary) Nicholls, both of Ontario, Barb Hayes, Bay Roberts and Jodi-lynn (Tony) Fontes, Ontario; one son: Michael, Bay Roberts; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother: John March, Green’s Harbour; one sister: Frances (Stewart) Crocker, Green’s Harbour; sister-in-law: Louise March, New Harbour; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Harbour Grace South. A private family inurnment will be held in St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace South at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, PO Box 28, Harbour Grace, NL, A0A 2M0.
