It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Emilio, on December 21, 2017 at 73 years of age. Beloved husband of 48 years to Marisa (nee Vendrasco). Cherished father of Dennis and wife Cindy, and Denise and husband Tim Petrosky. Loving nonno of Matthew, Nate, Maija, and Bryn. Predeceased by his parents Pietro and Olivia Schincariol. Loving brother of Sergio and his wife Nancy, and the late Maria Luisa and her late husband Franco Carnevale. Survived by his mother-in-law Sara Vendrasco. Dear brother-in-law of Frank and his wife Teresa Vendrasco. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Emilio was born in Bagnara, Venezia, Italy on December 28, 1943 and immigrated to Canada in 1952. He was a long standing member of the Giovanni Caboto Club where many lifelong friendships were made at numerous banquets, watching many soccer games and playing Bocce. Emilio was a well-respected leader in the Tool and Mold Industry where he also formed many close friendships.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trillium Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 4:30 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 On Thursday, family and friends are invited to meet after 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 4401 Mount Royal Dr. until the time of the Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Windsor Memorial Gardens.
