Elwyn Scott Willett
Elwyn S. Willett, 80 of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, passed
away peacefully at his residence on Saturday August 12,
2017.
Born in Broadlands, Quebec, he was the son of the late James
and Margaret (Firlotte) Willett. Elwyn retired from Goodyear Tire with
25 years’ service and was the founder of Willett’s
Moving & Cartage (Mississauga, ON). He enjoyed
spending time with family and friends, watching hockey (unfortunately
the Toronto Maple Leafs), playing crib, and tinkering in his
garage.
Elwyn will be sadly missed by his wife of 52 years, Crandleen
(Irvine) Willett of Riverview; children, Tammy Willett and Kenneth
Willett, both of Mississauga, ON and Brady Willett (Hope) of Moncton;
grandchildren, Steven, Nicole, Abbygail and Maggie; sister, Lyda
Hannom; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two
sisters, Lorna Babcock and Ivy Municker, and brother, Donald
Willett.
A Service to celebrate and honour Elwyn’s life will
be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995) on Saturday August 19, 2017 at 2:00pm. Visitation hours
from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre
following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would
