Obituary of Elsie M. Sparkes
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Friday, November 17, 2017, Elsie M. Sparkes of Lower Island Cove, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Lucy White; brother: Wilson; sister: Gwen. Leaving to mourn, husband: Warren; five brothers: Arthur (Masie), Clarence, Don, Eric, and Gary; sister: Mardell (Joe) Blackmore; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Sunday, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove.
