SAINT-CHARLES, NB – Eloi Robichaud, 80, of Foyer
Bois Joli, Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away at home after a brief
illness on Saturday, February 18th, 2017. Born
in St-Charles, he was the son of the late Félix and
Madeleine (Doucet) Robichaud. Eloi was a hard worker all his life. He
worked as a fisherman, he worked for Daigle’s Carpentry, and
before retiring, he worked for Saint-Ignace Wood Truss. He loved
spending time going to the dance with his wife.
Eloi will be sadly missed by his wife of 42 years, Emerise
(Richard) of St-Charles; his son, Roger (Lisa) of Moncton; his
daughter, Nicole Richard (Claude) of Irishtown; and his four
grandsons, Sébastien, Zacharie, Nickolas and
Anthony.
Eloi is also survived by five sisters, Noella Cormier (Emile)
of Rexton, Généva Chevarie (late Ovila) of
St-Charles, Bernadette Robichaud of Richibucto, Marie-Reine
Hébert (Roger) of St-Louis and Gilberte Robichaud of
Gatineau, QC; three brothers, Yvon of St-Louis, Guy (Simonne) of
Richibouctou-Village and Ola of Richibucto; as well as by several
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Eloi is predeceased by his siblings,
Anna, Aurella, Emma, Baby Marie, Dorice, Gerald, Jean-Paul,
Léon, Claude and Emery.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Friday from 9:00
am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Friday, February 24th, 2017 at
11:00 am, St-Charles-Borromée Roman Catholic Church,
St-Charles. Donations in Eloi’s memory made to a
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.

Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
