At White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction, NB., Wednesday, November 22, 2017, Elmina Mae Johnston, wife of Hazen G. Johnston passed away.
Born in Wilsons Beach, Campobello, NB., daughter of the late Terence Marvin and Arlene (Fitzsimmons) Newman.
Survived by her husband, her children: Michael Brooks (Arvella) of Edmonton, AB., Beverly Doyle (Brian) of Stouffville, ON., Ricky Brooks of Grand Manan, NB., Kelly Libby (Danny) of St. Stephen, NB., Kirk Brooks (Naomi) of Musquash, NB., Heidi Cohen (Bert) of B.C., twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sister; Agnes Bernard of N.Y., two brothers, Harry Newman (Mary Titus) of Campobello, NB., , Dexter Newman (Debbie) of St. George, NB., several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Brooks, three sisters, two brothers and her first husband, Richard Brooks.
Funeral service will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1 PM. There will be no visitation held.
Interment will follow the funeral service at the Head Harbour Cemetery, Wilsons Beach, Campobello, NB. at 3 PM.
