Elmer Galbraith of Rothesay passed away on December 21st, 2017, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Elmer was born in Charlottetown on March 13th, 1944 to the late Margaret (Darrah) and Milton Galbraith. During his working years, Elmer was a truck driver with various companies, and also was a bus driver with SMT for a short time. He is survived by his son Chris (Blair) Galbraith, brothers Milton of Ottawa and Jimmy of Charlottetown, grandchildren Harper and Rowan, nieces Cathy and Jennifer, and nephews Kevin and Dale. Elmer is also survived by his extended family; Leah Galbraith and Gary McKendrick. In addition to his parents, Elmer was pre-deceased by his two beloved ragdoll cats, Mikey and Misty. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Bayshore Home Health, the Paramedics at Ambulance NB, as well as the staff of 4C North at the Saint John Regional Hospital, for their excellent care of Elmer. In keeping with Elmer’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances to the Saint John SPCA – Animal Rescue, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
