SPENCE, Elmer Charles – Passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 26th, 2017 in his 96th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen Rose Spence (nee Doney). Elmer will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sons: Garry Spence (Rochelle) and Grant Spence (Mavis); Granddaughter: Sonia (Chad); Great-granddaughters: Ambyr and Brooke; sisters: Phylis and Enid; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Bertha “Pearl” Spence (nee Castleman), sister Luella and brothers: Earl and Willard. Family and friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 from 12:30P.M. until time of Funeral Service at 2:30P.M. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery will follow as well as a time of fellowship in the Highland Park Reception Centre. In memory of Elmer, donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. Expressions of condolence may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
