It is with great sadness that we announce that after a lengthy illness Elizabeth Maybroda of Edmonton passed away at the age of 76 years.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Paul; son, Wendell; sister, Natalka (Korneil) Ozipko; brothers, Stefan (Bella) and Louis; and sisters-in-law, Gerarda and Fern. Predeceased by her parents, Panko and Annie Mulyk; brothers, Morris, Mike, Harry, John, Andrew and Peter; sisters, Mary, Rose and Sonia.
Funeral Rite Monday, April 10 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 12104 – 129 Avenue. Right Reverend Mitred Protopresbyter Father Nicholas Orest Rauliuk officiating with interment in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CUOCE, St. Stephen Cemetery, 20303 Meridian Street NE, Edmonton, AB T5Y 6E6, or the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Michael, 12104 – 129 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 0B2 or the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2
