Elizabeth (Betty) Millar (nee Kopp) June 25, 1921 – August 25, 2017
Peacefully, in her sleep, two months to-the-day after her 96th birthday. Pre-deceased by her husband James Love, all her siblings – Rose, Jake, Frank and Peter – and her Grandson, Scott Millar. She will be greatly missed by her children – John (Marlene), Jim, Myra McKeen (Helmut Mueller), Randy and Bradley, as well as her nieces and nephews. She leaves behind Grandchildren – Victoria, Melanie (Steve Chapman), Allison (Dan Lavoie) and their mother, Elaine, as well as Great Grandchildren – Justin & Chase Allison, William & Samuel Chapman, Benjamin & Simon Lavoie, as well as Wyatt Millar and his mother, Sharon Toup-Millar. Betty’s life was not an easy one, but she always made the best of what she had. She was devoted to her family and rarely ever refused a request if it was within her power to oblige. The family wishes to thank Dr. Merrett, the nurses, PSW’s and staff at the Osgoode Care Centre for their kindness, compassion and excellent care. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, (6971 Bank Street between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 1-1:45 pm on Monday August 28. Funeral to follow in the Chapel at 2 pm. Interment Springhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Osgoode care Centre would be appreciated.
