1932-2017
GREEN: ELIZABETH JANE (BETTY) (1932-2017) – Mrs.
Elizabeth Green, of Castalia, Grand Manan, NB passed away peacefully
at the Grand Manan Nursing Home on Sunday, March
5th, 2017.
She was born in North Head the daughter of the late Grover
and Mabel (Allen) Guptill. Betty was faithful to her Lord and her
Church, and especially to her family. She worked at Connor’s
Factory for 44 years. Betty had a love for Golden
Retrievers.
Betty is survived by two daughters Brenda Sewell (Herb) of
Harvey and Donna Landry (Victor) of Maine, US; two sons Phillip Green
(Rochelle) of Castalia, and Wayne Green (Natania) of
Woodward’s Cove; nine grandchildren, eight great
grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by one great
granddaughter Lainey Mullen, two sisters Lena Green and Velma Cox, and
one brother Burton Guptill.
Visiting will take place at Immanuel Family Church from 2-4
and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, March 7th. The Funeral
Service will be from the church on Wednesday, March
8th 2017 at 1:00pm.
Donation may be made to the Castalia Baptist Church Youth
Fund, or the donor’s choice.
