Elizabeth Francis Dziadyk (nee Turchenek) 7 avril 1933 – 7 janvier 2017

Born Elizabeth Francis Turchenek on the family farm by St. Denis, Saskatchewan. She married Walter Dziadyk on October 9, 1952. Started their life together in Saskatoon. Mom loved the farming life. They eventually returned to mom’s family farm in St. Denis and remained there until 1997.
Survived by two sons, Gary (Jan) and Christopher (Shauna); one brother, Larry (Gloria) Turchenek of Edmonton, Alberta. She will be foldly remembered by grandchildren, Shana Hall (Clint), Cole and Devin Dziadyk; Brandon and Dylan Dziadyk; great-grandchildren, Sadie and Marek Janzen.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Walter; daughter, Jane Hall; parents, Peter and Mary Turchenek; and brothers, Murray and Peter Turchenek.
She was a homemaker most of her life with a fond love of rural life, be it gardening or just farming in general.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (1405 Faulkner Crescent, Saskatoon, SK S7L 3R5) and related disorders.
Prayers for Elizabeth will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. The Divine Liturgy will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 10th Street and Munroe Avenue, Saskatoon celebrated by Rev. Fr. Leonid Malkov, CSsR. Interment in Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery to follow.
