Elizabeth Dale (Dinn), 87, peacefully passed away November 29th, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home in St. John’s, NL. She was predeceased by her husband Almon (2004) and infant twin grandsons James and John (1982). Elizabeth was the last living member of the very large family of Richard and Elizabeth Dinn of St. John’s.
Leaving to mourn, her daughters Virginia (Wayne Halley), Deborah (Brian Decker), Roberta (Carl McLean), Annette (Bernie Michelin); her son Allan (Janet Baker); sister-in-law Ethel Dinn; grandchildren Sara, Laura, George, Colin, Michael, Victoria, Olivia and Thomas; as well as great-grandchildren Ella, Eva, Sophie, Grady, Charlotte & Grace.
Elizabeth lived a very full life surrounded by family and friends; a life filled with laughter and music.
A very sincere thank you to the staff of North Pond Manor (Torbay) and St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for the wonderful care they provided Elizabeth during her stay.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Rd on Friday, December 1 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral to take place from Caul’s Chapel on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 12 Noon, with a private inurnment to take place at a later date. No flowers by request, but donations in her memory can be made to The School Lunch Program.
