“Jerry”
1923 – 2017
Eldred Gerald Armstrong, born on September 10, 1923, in Watrous, SK and was known as Jerry by family and friends, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 93 years of age.
Jerry was a retired CP Rail Engineer, and an avid curler, fisher and hunter. He is the Dad of Carolin Blaine (Bill) and Jerri-Pat Armstrong-Smith (Scott).
Jerry was predeceased by his wife Julia, his parents Noble and Florence Armstrong, his sisters Eleanor and Yvonne, and his brother Darryle.
Dad has 5 grandchildren: Michelle Mann (Dave), Stacey Campbell (Scott), Brandi Blaine (Clint), Jodi Hoyt (Rorie) and Christy Lode (Chad).
Also, Jerry has 10 great grandchildren: Sidney, Blaine, Jessica, Tony, Leah, Jordyn, Shayne, and triplets Bowen, Bosten, and Bryden who lovingly referred to him as “Old Papa.”
As per Jerry’s wishes, there will be no service.
