Elaine MacArthur
1944-2017
Ruth “Elaine” MacArthur, 72,
of Dobson’s Corner, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017
at the Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the
daughter of the late Lorne and Hilda (Wilson) Hetherington. During
Elaine’s early years, she was a hairdresser, and later, drove an
accessible taxi in Ontario for children. She volunteered at SPOT in
Petitcodiac for many years, and enjoyed gardening, sewing and
reading.
She is survived and sadly missed by her
loving husband of 52 years, Ralph; two daughters, Ruth A. MacArthur of
Halifax and Tammy Lee Mercer (Jeff) of Lunenburg; as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Elaine is predeceased by her parents, as
well as one brother, Paul Hetherington.
Resting at Salisbury
Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 Salisbury (372-4800) visiting will be
Tuesday December 12, 6-8 p.m.
The funeral will be held from the funeral home chapel on
Wednesday December 13 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Vincent Burgess
officiating.

to the Kidney Foundation or S.P.O.T. would be appreciated by the
family.
