Obituary for Eileen Scott (Blair)
Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital with family by her side on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Catherine Eileen Scott (nee Blair), formerly of Maxville, born August 22, 1919. Beloved wife of the late Melville Alexander McEwen and by second marriage the late Gordon W. Scott. Loving mother of Gwen Hamilton (Stu) of Kingston, Joyce Montaigne (Mike) of Pembroke, and Karen Gagnon (Dennis) of Stony Plain, Alberta. Proud grandmother of Kevin Hamilton (Julie), Paul Montaigne (Christine), John Gagnon (Laura) and Christie Everett (Matt) and great grandmother of Scotia, Charlotte and Molly Hamilton, Dylan, Justin and Kael Everett, and Avianna, Sylvan and Eloise Gagnon. Dear sister of the late Verna MacGregor and the late Keith Blair and sister-in-law of Lorna Winter. Daughter of the late Hugh Blair and the late Catherine Blair (nee McDermid). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Respecting mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in the Spring followed by burial in Maxville Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Supples Landing Retirement Home in Pembroke for their care over the last 13 years and the nurses and staff at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
