Obituary for Edward Picken
Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Edward Gordon Picken of Summerstown; age 55 years. Beloved husband of Donna Picken (nee Menard). Loving father of Steve Picken of Kingston and Kristine Picken of Cornwall. Cherished grandfather of Robbie. Dear brother of Jim Picken (Margie) of Portland, Ontario and Fran Picken of Cornwall. Predeceased by one brother Harold “Butch” Picken. Dear son of Lillian Picken (nee Hirst) of Alexandria and the late Bertram Picken. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Life will be held at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 12 pm. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Edward a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
