Service Details
Edna Rose Cutting, a long-time resident of the Edson area, died the early morning of Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the age of 77 years old in the Edson Healthcare Centre, with her daughter and her granddaughter by her side.
Edna was the fourth child of Cora and George “Doc” Allison, born February 8, 1940 in Rimbey, Alberta and she married Vern Cutting on June 17, 1961.
Edna is predeceased by her husband Vern, her parents Cora and George and her siblings Eva, Hazel, Darlene, and Karen. She is survived by her siblings George, Carol, Marilyn, Jean, Sam, Elsie and Clarence; her children Wayne Cutting, Brian (Elaine) Cutting, and Karen (Warren) Sweet; her six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Edna was everyone’s Mum and Grandma, and will be sorely and deeply missed by her family and the community.
Edna’s family would like to thank the Edson Healthcare Centre for their diligence and support in Edna’s final days. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the Long-Term Care at the Edson Healthcare Centre on behalf of Edna Cutting.
