It is with great sadness that the families of the late Edna Francis Hoyles nee Bryant announce her passing on Friday, September 15th, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, in her 87th year.
She will be sadly missed by her loving children; Evelyn (Jerry) Tabor, Glenn (Carol) Hoyles, Patti (Ron) Scott, Leah (Roger) Russell, and Lynette (Sean) Simon, her 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sister; Irene (Robert) Merritt, sisters-in-law; Evelyn (Jake) Bryant, and Olive (Phillip) Bryant, as well as a large circle of nieces / nephews, relatives and friends.
Edna was predeceased by her loving husband; Leonard Hoyles, son Phillip, daughter; Phyllis, her parents; James & Mildred Bryant, sister; Louise Tulk, brothers; Beaton, Jacob, and Phillip Bryant.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Sunday, September 17th, 2017, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday, September 18th, 2017, at 2:00 pm, at the St. Paul’s United Church in Deer Lake, NL, with Rev Myles Vardy officiating, with the burial to follow at the Family plot of the Deer Lake Interdenominational cemetery on Wight’s Road, Deer Lake, NL, with a celebration of life to follow.
