BENT, Edmund Levert
Passed away peacefully at home in Newmarket on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 147 pm in the afternoon in his 81st year of life. Loving husband of Darlton for 43 years. Beloved father of Trevor (Darlene), Sandra, Nicole, Simone (Ted), Grace, Mark (Shivani) and Meleta. Proud grandfather of 23 and great-grandfather of 15. Brother of Bradley (Carmel) Bent, Pearl (late Richard) Morgan and the late Eggbert (Gloria May) Bent. Son of the late Steven and Grace-Ann Bent. Will be sadly missed by all his family and many dear friends. Housekeeper at Sunnybrook for 26 years. The family would like to thank CCAC especially Laurie Fisher, SRT and nurse Hyun, the Southlake Palliative Care team with special thanks to Dr. Baguio and a very special thank you to Gina who cared for Edmund as though he was her own father and took extra time in supporting his wife.
Visitation will take place Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 7-9 pm and Monday, July 31, 2017 from 10-11 am at Roadhouse and Rose , 157 Main Street, Newmarket, Ontario. Funeral service to take place Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11 am followed by burial at the Queensville Cemetery followed by reception at Roadhouse and Rose.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society in Edmund’ s honour.
