SOMERVILLE, Edith – Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the age of 105. Loving wife of the late Robert. Predeceased by her brothers Stanley, Arnold, Austin and Gordon Porter and their spouses. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Good friend of Natasha Franz. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment Old Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Edie’s neighbor Dave and Pat Stoakes for all their caring support over the years.
