Long time resident of Devon and Peace River, AB, Edith passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the age of 84. She leaves behind her loving daughter Laila (Gordon) Craddock of Devon, AB; her loving son Sven (Shirley) of Sherwood Park, AB; 5 grandchildren Jason Craddock, Sonja Craddock, Stacey (Mike) Simpson, Sarah (Rob) Korzan, Sheralee (Brent) Shinkaruk; 14 great-grandchildren Alyssa, Craig, Curtis, Kyle, Jordan, Joshia, Kaleb, Elias, Olivia, Nathan, Jakob, Brooklyn, Cameron, Sheldon; and 1 great-great-granddaughter Skyla; as well as numerous family members in Norway and Canada. Edith was predeceased by her loving husband Aage (2014), her sons Glenn (1991) and Arne (1993).
A Memorial Service will be held for Edith in the New Year.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Edith may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, 10531 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5H 4K1, or the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 9Z9.
