Tucker, Edgar L (January 15, 1935 – March 29, 2017) – It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edgar L. Tucker – 82 years – originally from Burnt Point, Conception Bay, NL. He will be remembered as a loving, husband, father and grandfather. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and Adolphus Tucker. Brothers – Nelson and Roy. Sisters – June Penney, Muriel Puddester (Ray), Ruth Reynolds and Flora Crowley.
Leaving to mourn Marcey (nee Smith), his loving and devoted wife of 56 wonderful years, daughter Gail Rendell (Eric) and sons, Eddie (Rolanda), Andrew (Leighsa) and Ron (Lisa). Grandchildren – Greg Rendell (Lindsey), Erica Pope (Darryl), Jennifer, Jessica, Hayleigh, Noah, Christopher, Jarod and Brent and great Grandson – Nathan Rendell. Also leaving to mourn are brothers Lewis (Armorel), Ray (Betty) and sister Doreen Thistle (John), and sisters-in-law: Louise Vernon (Bob) and Yula Drew (John). Also, a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. A special mention to Reuben and Jason for the exceptional care they provided over the last couple of months. Thank you to the doctors and nurses of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Thank you to his family physician, Dr. Mark Porter. Ed was well known and respected in the business community as a dedicated hard worker who build his very successful machine shop, E. Tucker & Sons over 50 years ago. He was very proud to pass this business on to his sons. Cremation has taken place and as per his wishes, there will be a private family celebration of his life at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Edgar’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
