Obituary of Eddie Zoldy
Zoldy: Eddie John –
A resident of Highgate, Eddie Zoldy passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Monday July 17, 2017 at the age of 69.
Born in Sturgeon Falls, Eddie was the son of the late Joseph and surviving Tressa (Armitage) Zoldy.
Beloved husband of 47 years to Wendy (nee Lippert).
Loving father of his sons Michael Zoldy of Duart, Christian Zoldy of Blenheim, and Dominic (Theresa) Zoldy of Blenheim.
Grandfather of Devin-Daniel, Keayden and Nathaniel.
Survived by his siblings Deloris (Hilton) Middlebrook, Victor (Elaine) Zoldy, Richard (Madeliane) Zoldy, Susan (Bill) Hastings, Joey (Carmen) Zoldy, Steven (Kim) Zoldy and his sister’s-in-law Jean Zoldy and Mary Anne Zoldy.
Eddie will also be missed by the Lippert family, Carl (Heather) Lippert, Betty Lippert, Doreen (Dan) Mills, Gail (Marcel) Menard, Pat (Mike) Swiston, Jean (Dave) Pickering, Wade (Angie) Lippert, and Tommy Lippert.
Godfather of Tyler Pickering.
Predeceased by his brothers Doug, Billy, Sandy, his sister Rose, his infant grandson Breayden and his brother-in-law Earl Lippert.
Eddie worked for Henry Heyink Construction for almost 30 years.
Memorial Visitation for Eddie will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St East, Ridgetown, on Saturday July 29, 2017 from 1-3pm. A Memorial Service will then be held at 3pm. Burial to follow in the Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate.
Donations made in memory of Eddie to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
