Obituary for Earl Swartz
SWARTZ, Earl M. – Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday December 22, 2017 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Doris J. (Nee Fleming) Swartz for nearly 70 years. Dear father of Leanne (Mike) Siebenmorgen and Scott Swartz. Loved grandfather of Nicole, Holly, Ryan, Abby and Ben. Dear brother of John Swartz, Leona McKee and brother-in-law of Wilbert “Babe” Fleming. Earl is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brothers; George Swartz, Bill Swartz and Ray Pressey. Earl served during WW II with the Canadian Motorcycle Brigade. He was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion # 495, Beachville. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday December 29, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev. Bill Mayoros officiating. Interment in the Harris St. Cemetery, Ingersoll.
