Passed away peacefully following a brief illness in Ajax, Ontario, on January 5th, 2017 in his 94th year. Earl Francis Koster, formerly of Elora and Guelph. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years Marie (Mary) Margaret (nee Hamilton). Fondly remembered by his children Mike, Steve (Lucia), Joe (Pam), Bruce (Bianca), Phil (Andrea), Marie, Anne and Louise Koster-Lloyd (Mike). Beloved by his 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Paul, 4 sisters and 1 brother. Earl was a proud veteran of World War 2, serving as an air gunner on Lancaster bombers. Longtime draftsman employed by the City of Scarborough. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St. East in Elora, on Sunday, January 8th, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 267 Geddes St. in Elora, on Monday, January 9th, 2017 at 11:00am. Interment at St. Mary’s – St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Elora. Memorial donations in memory of Earl can be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
