MCLEAN, Dwaine Arnold … age 73, of Bath (formerly of
Jacksontown), passed away on Sunday, October 15th, 2017, at the Upper
River Valley hospital, after a lengthy illness. He died peacefully,
surrounded by family and loved ones.
Dwaine was born on August 18, 1944 and grew up in Jacksontown. He
graduated from Centreville Regional High School and then went on to
pursue his Physical Education degree at UNB, followed by his Arts
degree. He was a beloved and well-respected teacher, spending the
majority of his teaching career in Bath. He also taught in Saint John
and Ontario and touched many lives, both in and outside the classroom.
Dwaine is survived by his wife Heather (Horsman), daughter Michelle,
grandchildren Sophie and Lily Arseneau, son-in-law James, sister Judy
Underhill (Larry), brother- in-law Verne Horsman (Carol),
sisters-in-law Lorna Cole and Deborah Davis, and several cousins,
nieces and nephews.
Dwaine is predeceased by parents Kathleen and Arnold McLean, daughter
Tracey Lynne McLean, brother David, brothers-in-law Daryl Horsman,
Gary Horsman, George Cole, and sister- in-law Valerie McLaughlin.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Memorial United Church in
Florenceville on October 21st at 2:00. Reception to follow.
Internment will take place at a later date.

Scholarship fund would be deeply appreciated.
