The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family, at
Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, June 4, 2017 of Hazel
Tryphosa Dumville, of West Point aged 63, loving wife of Elmer. Born
in O’Leary on July 21, 1953, daughter of the late Clarence
and Birdie (MacWilliams) Smith.
Dear mother to Jody Dumville (Shane Cousins), Springfield
West; Cory, West Cape and Christina, Travellers Rest. Dear grandmother
to Kelsie and Kloe Dumville. Sadly missed by her loyal puppy companion
“Lou”.
Hazel is also survived by brothers and sisters Roy Smith,
O’Leary; Debbie (Garnet) Dumville, O’Leary; Lloyd
(Janet) Smith, West Cape; David (Shirley) Smith, Howlan; Francis
Smith, West Point; Barbie Smith, West Point; Stephen Smith, Glenwood
and Lorna Smith, Alberton and brothers and sisters in law Sharon
Smith, Knutsford; Ray (Margaret) Dumville, Halifax, NS; Edward (Lorna)
Dumville, Hebron; Gordon Dumville, West Point; Shirley (Doug) Barron,
Calgary, AB and Jim MacDougald, Cold Lake, AB.
Predeceased by her parents and brother Walter.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home Ltd with visitation on
Wednesday from 6-9p.m. No funeral by personal request. Family and
friends are invited to Elmer and Hazel’s home on Thursday at
4:00p.m. for a time of sharing memories.
