On Monday, December 18, 2017, Duane Arthur Davey passed away suddenly at the age of 58 years.
Duane leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 22 years, Terri Davey, sons Barry and Duane Davey, sister Lueen (Rob) Morrison, nieces and nephew Claire, Molly and Liam of Vancouver, B.C., sister in law Pat (Barry) Koronko of Kamloops, B.C., nieces, Katrina (Cory) Steinhauser of Breton, and Pam (Craig) Jones of Red Deer, great nieces and nephews, Daryl, Kenny, Rykker Jones and Hunter Steinhauser.
He was loved by all and will be missed dearly.
Duane was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Verna Davey of Kamloops, B.C.
Duane was born on December 22, 1958 in Mankota, Saskatchewan. The family moved to Burnaby, B.C. when he was 7 years old and in 1992 he moved to Kamloops, B.C. to be closer to his parents.
In 1994 Duane met Terri Smith through a mutual friend and love was in the air. On April 25, 1995 they said their vows in front of family and friends.
They were blessed with two sons, Barry William Arthur Davey born on November 1, 1995 and Duane Patrick Davey born on November 27, 1996.
Shortly after, they moved to Alberta and settled in Bassano. In 2010 they moved to Drayton Valley and made their home sweet home.
Duane was a very simple man and a loving father.
In honor of his wishes no formal services will be held.
The family graciously declines flowers and ask that memorial donations be directed to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation, HRIF-East 1-020, 1A University Campus NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 9Z9
