Dr. Orland Otto Schaus
Dr. Orland Otto Schaus, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully at his home in Toronto with his wife of 72 years by his side on Sunday, September 03, 2017. He was 93.
Born in Hanover Ontario on January 10, 1924 to the late Norman and Elizabeth (nee Kraft) Schaus. Dr. Schaus earned his Doctorate of Chemical Engineering focusing on Research and Development. His last project resulted in designing the High Efficiency Gas Furnace many of us use today.
Survived by loving wife Lois Schaus of Toronto. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Elaine Hilliard of Kitchener and many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brothers Ronald, Bernard and sisters Janet Schneider and Mildred Eydt.
Visitation will be�held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 10:30am until time of a Funeral Service at 11:30 am.� Rev. John Polacok officiating.� Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover.
