Douglas Joseph Leger
1942-2017
Doug Leger, 75, of K.E Spencer Home and formerly of the
Terraces Cameron St. Moncton, NB; passed away at The Moncton
Hospital, on Monday, December 25, 2017. Born in Moncton, he was the
son of the late Lloyd and Mary Leger. He was owner and operator of
Doug’s Cab prior to his retirement.
A kind and quiet man he is survived by his children Carl
Leger of Grande Prairie, AB., Shelly Johnson (Brian) and Tracy
Thibodeau (Roger) all of Moncton; grandson Justin Thibodeau; sisters
Patricia Brundage (the late Arthur) of Amherst; Margaret Landry
(Terry) and Lillian Curwin all of Moncton; as well as nieces and
nephews.
Honouring Doug’s wishes cremation has taken
place.
Graveside prayers will be held at Our Lady of Calvary
Cemetery in the spring.
Donations in Doug’s memory made to the Friends of the Moncton
Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
