BEDFORD, Douglas
Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care on Friday December 1, 2017 age 75 years. Douglas Bedford of Ingleside. Dear father of Jason Bedford of London and Aaron Bedford (Eleanor) of Kanata. Loved brother of Barbara Grant (late Earl) of Cornwall and Myrna Alguire (late Bill) of Long Sault. Sadly missed by one grandson Austin. Cherished uncle of Kathy Currier (Rick), David Grant (Heather), Susan Burrell (Tim), Robbie Alguire (Dawn), Roddy Bedford (Nancy) and Rick Bedford (Debbie). Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Luva (Buchner) Bedford; one brother Saunders Bedford (Elsie of Thorold) and one nephew Jimmy Bedford. To honour Mr. Bedford’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Saturday December 9, 2017 from 10am until 11am. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF DOUGLAS BEDFORD’S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 9, 2017 AT 11AM.]. Reverend Patrick Stephens celebrating. Committal service at a later date at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Lost Villages Historical Society would be appreciated by the family.
