Mrs. Dorothy Downey
Passed away at Southlake Hospital on Saturday, November 11, 2017 with her family by her side. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Alex (1985) and her daughter Donna Reynar (2014). She is survived by her son Alex (Betty), daughters Diane Cracknell (Brian) and Lynne Kennedy (Bob). Grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Sister to Shirley and Herb. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 524 Davis Dr., Newmarket, 905-898-2100 on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 12:00pm till 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation may be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
