Obituary for Dorothy Brandon
Peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2017 at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia. DOROTHY BRANDON (nee Stover), of Petrolia and formerly of Inwood, was in her 80th year. Dorothy is now reunited with her beloved husband and best friend, Richard (2010) and her her cherished son, Tom (2009). She will be missed by her children Donna (Tom Gustin) Brandon and Jim (Tara) Brandon and her daughter-on-law Cheryl Brandon. Dorothy was the loved grandmother to Rick (Jess), Aleah (Steve), Nicole, Alisha, and Chad and great grandmother to Gage, Gavrielle, Emerson, Weston, Dyllan, Layla, Mackenzie, Porter, the late Josiah, Karder, Riley, and Ryker. Dorothy is the daughter of the late James and Norma Stover and a sister to Brenda (Gary) Robbins and Norma Jean (the late Ross) Rilett and a sister-in-law to the late Norm (the late Betty) Brandon, Joanne (Gary) Selman and Arlene (Grant) Barclay. Dorothy will be dearly missed by many friends and family. A special thanks to Joan Fisher for all your love, and for going above and beyond the bonds of friendship. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Lion’s Hall in Petrolia on Saturday, January ?? 2018. All are welcome. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Needham-Jay Fuernal Home, Petrolia (519) 882-0100. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation (www.ceehf.ca).
