At Wingham & District Hospital on Thursday, November 02, 2017, Mrs. Doris Remington of Wingham, age 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Harold Remington. Cherished mother of Joan & Doug Gibson, Gail & Rae Robinson, Bob & Faye Remington and Tom Remington. Loving grandmother of Courtney Matthews, Lindsay Sanderson, Ashley Gibson, Colby Kleinpaste, Ryan Robinson, Erin Schiestel, Amy van Meeteren, Jen Johnston and Mike Remington and great-grandmother of twenty-one. Sister-in-law of Marion McKay. Predeceased by her son Doug, sisters Margaret Cox, Eleanor Buckingham, Isabel Stone, Elizabeth Savage and brother Ralph McKay.
Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, from 2:00-4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment will take place at Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Br.180 or Autism Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
