Passed peacefully with loving family by her side. Predeceased by husband Roland, daughter Carmel, and parents Joseph and Agnes. She will be missed by her children Simone Levesque (Gerard), Marc (Danielle), and Richard (Diane). Loving grandmother to Lise (Jean-François), Natalie, Ryan, Justin, Amy (Jack Jr.), Cory (Kayla), Eric, and Curtis. Beloved great-grandmother to Noah and David. Predeceased by siblings William (Loretta), Mabel Jones (Thomas), Armand (Clara), Daniel (Elizabeth), Florence Baillargeon (Henry), Clarence (Lucille), Rita Parent (Alphonse), Adeline Dufour (Louis), and Beatrice Kulke (Eric). Survived by sisters-in-law Alice Janisse, Eva Comartin, Jeanette Masse, Lucy Dimenna, and Bernadette Robillard. Doris enjoyed her Tuesday card games with her special nieces: Bernadette, Kathy, Veronica, “good” Mary, “bad” Mary, and Gail. Visitation will be held at Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St. Belle River, N0R 1A0, 519-728-1500) on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 2-5 & 7-9 with parish prayers at 4:30. Visitation will continue at Melady on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 9-10 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Simon & St. Jude Church starting at 10:30. Burial to follow at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Good Neighbour Club or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
