Doris R. Thompson of Christie Ridge, NB passed away December 9, 2016
at her home. Doris was born at Manners Sutton, NB in 1937, a daughter
of the late Phillip and Ruth (Charters) Roberts.
Doris is survived by her children, Jerry Thompson (Brenda), Moncton,
NB, Steven Thompson (Debbie), McAdam, NB, Ricky Thompson (Karen),
Christie Ridge, NB, Timmy Thompson (Tabatha), Targetville, NB and
Donna Stewart (Everett), Amherst, NS; 18 grandchildren and several
great grandchildren; a sister, Linda Symes (Vance) and a brother,
Benny Roberts (Diane); several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Kenneth Thompson; a daughter, Carolyn and 3 great grandchildren,
Michael, Darrell and Jonathan.
Visiting hours will be held at Voice of Pentecost Church, 82 Harvey
Road, McAdam, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service
will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 2 pm from the church
with Rev. Stephen Tompkins and Rev. Billy McGillicuddy officiating.
Interment will be at a later date at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Doris, the family
has suggested a charity of the donor’s choice.
