Dorina Doucet

It is with sadness the family announces
the passing of Mrs. Dorina Doucet, wife of the late Edgar Doucet,
formerly of Miramichi Ave, which occurred at the Foyer Notre Dame de
Lourdes on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the age of
97.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter
of the late Fabien and Sophie (Doiron)
Doucet.
She worked as a hairdresser for most of
her life and was a member of the Senior Choir in
Bathurst.
She was predeceased by her husband of 74
years, Edgar, this past August and was the last surviving member of
her immediate family.
She is survived by one son, Donald (late
Paula) Doucet of Bathurst.
Two daughters: Rose-Marie Kennett
(Richard) of Vancouver and Diane Frenette
(Paul-Emile) of Beresford.
Eight grandchildren: Sonia,
Jason, Brian, Denis, Eric, Crystal, Kayla and Meaghan. Eight
great-grandchildren.
Several nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by two sons:
Paul-Raymond and Roger, three brothers: Pius, Lawrence, Raymond and
one sister, Yvonne.
There will be no visitation at the
Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated from the
Elhatton Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com)
Bathurst, on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 4 p.m.
In Memory of Dorina, donations
may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes or a charity of the
donor’s choice.
The family would like to thank the staff
at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes for the excellent care and
compassion given for both of their
parents.
