Donna Mary DeVeau
1947-2017
The passing of Donna Mary DeVeau, loving wife of Raymond Leo DeVeau,
occurred at their residence in Bonny River NB on November 28, 2017.
Born in Bonny River on April 24, 1947, she was a daughter of the late
Irvin and Frances (Robbins) Golden. A loving wife, mother and sister,
in addition to her husband Raymond, Donna is survived by her daughter:
Daphne DeVeau of Bonny River; sisters: Frances Deveau of Utopia NB,
Kathleen (Glendon) Buchanan of Bonny River and Christine (Clair)
Monaghan of Second Falls NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Donna was predeceased by one brother: Arthur
Golden; and sisters: Geraldine Kinney and Marjorie Booker.
Donna truly had a heart of gold. She loved her family and enjoyed
spending her time surrounded by them and her friends. She was a giving
person who was always there to lend a hand. An avid animal lover, she
was known to spoil her pets, especially her dog Casey. Her love,
compassion and warm smile will always be treasured by her family.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB. As keeping with Donna’s wishes there
will be no visiting. A graveside service will be held at the St.
George Rural Cemetery, St. George NB on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev.
Reg Ward officiating. In Donna’s memory, donations to Charlotte County
Cancer or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly
appreciated by the family.
