Don passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged in Brussels, on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Born on February 15, 1932, Donald James Steinacker of Brussels, formerly of Mitchell, was in his 86th year.
Predeceased by his parents Aaron and Margaret (nee Miller) Steinacker. Don is survived by and will be dearly missed by his friends.
He had a great love for livestock and was a well-respected livestock drover.
A funeral service to celebrate Don’s life will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Christine Hossack officiating. A reception will follow in the Egmondville United Church Hall and spring interment will take place in Maitlandbank Cemetery, McKillop Township.
