It is
with great sadness that the family of the late Donald
Norman Ford announce his peaceful passing at Western
Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the age of
86 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Rex
(Debbie), Verna Ford (Monty), and Denise (Steve) Rideout,;
Grandchildren: Jamie (Richelle), Michelle (Julian), Megan (Clinton),
and Stephanie; four great grandchildren: Jacob, Jessie-Lynn, Ysobel,
and Alexis; sister: Shirley (Bill) Dyke; sisters in-law: Mariah Ford,
Edith Tulk, Bonnie (Wilson) Wicks, and Jean Tulk; brothers in-law:
George (Joan) Tulk, and Jim (Sandra) Tulk; and a large circle of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by
his wife Joan March 7, 2016; son: Dean; parents: Thomas and Elsie
Ford; parent’s in-law: Walter and Pearl Tulk; sisters:
Florence, Beatrice, Joyce, Edna (Willis) Harnett, Mae (Randolph) Reid,
and Claudine (Enurchis) Osmond; brothers: Leslie, Arthur and Eugene
Ford; brother’s in-law: Raymond and Maurice Tulk. Visitation
will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St.
Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, January
12th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service
will be held on Friday, January 13th at 2:00 PM from St. Michael and
All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive Reverend Roberta Woodman
Officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As
expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations
may be made to St. Michaels Emergency Fund or to the Canadian Cancer
