Donald Burns Lemon
1930-2017
It is with great sadness the family of Donald Burns Lemon announces
his passing Monday August 21, 2017 at Kings Way Care Centre in
Quispamsis. Don was born on May 13, 1930 in Chipman, NB. He was the
son of the late Russell and Ina (Legassie) Lemon.
He worked most of his life as a mason. He was known to be one of the
best at his trade. He also worked for NB Housing and for the
Department of Highways.
Don is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Richardson (Daryl) of
Nauwigewauk, and sons Lance Lemon of Saint John and Brent Lemon
(Sharon) of Quispamsis, and stepson Terry Stillwell of Saint John, Don
had five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, also by Brothers
Murray Lemon (Nelida) of Riverview, Carey Lemon (Hilda) of Chipman,
Sisters Glenna Lloyd and Delores Boudreau both of Chipman; several
nieces and nephews.
Don is predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Elmer and Acil; three
sisters, Eileen Fasquel, Violet Duncan and Connie Higgins; Shirley
(McRae) Lemon mother of his children; also by long term friend Glenna
Young of Saint John.
In keeping with Don’s wishes, there will be no visitation or
funeral services. A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday
August 24, 2017 at 11am at the Chipman Pentecostal Cemetery in
Redbank.
