Mrs. Dona Norton

Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at Lee Manor in Owen Sound, on Monday, January 23rd, 2017. Dona Grace Norton (nee Patterson), of Owen Sound and formerly of Massie, in her 98th year. Loving wife of the late Jack Norton (1969). Beloved mother of William Norton (Amy), James Norton (Sharon), Stephen Howard Norton and Mary Dickson (Archie), all of Owen Sound. Proud grandma of Leanne, William, Dona, Laurie, John, Amy, Emma, Cassandra, Lucas and great-grandma of Andrew, Amanda, Cade, Quinn, Gabriella, Oliver, Alexander, Jack, Wallace and Atticus. Predeceased by her parents, Pat and Anna Patterson. Dona was a life-time member of the Massie Women’s Institute and a member of First United Church.

WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Friday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. A Funeral Service for Dona Norton will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Joy Wagler officiating. Spring interment in Chatsworth Cemetery, Chatsworth. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the First United Church or the Massie United Church as an expression of sympathy.
