PALMER, Don Bertram – of Wakefield, NB, Passed away at Carleton Manor, Woodstock, NB on Tuesday, December 06, 2016, at the age of 94.
Don was born at Rosedale, NB, on April 10, 1922, the son of the late Allen and Ora (Hamilton) Palmer. Don is survived by his wife, Mary (Gilson) Palmer; a son, Larry Donald Palmer (Pamela) of Bolton, Ontario; and two grandchildren, Lauren and David Palmer; two great- grandchildren Maple and Lolla Evans, He is also survived by Two Step-sons, Michael (Mary) Thompson and Geoffrey Thompson, several Step-grandchildren, Step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Don worked the most of his life at the Ford Motor Company.
Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by two brothers, Harold Palmer and Arden Palmer, one sister Geraldine Sharp and one Step-grandson Ben Thompson.
He is resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 from 7-9 pm.The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm from Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ed Sealy will be officiating, with interment in the Wakefield Community Cemetery at a later date.
If desired, donations may be made to the Wakefield Community Cemetery.
