Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, April 21, 2017, Dominic E. Delaney of Northern Bay, age 88 years. Predeceased by daughter: Karen; grandson: Jason; parents: Patrick and Theresa; brothers: Patrick and Mark; sister: Mary Doyle. Leaving to mourn, wife: Annie; two daughters: Louise Oliver (Gussie), Burnt Point and Carmel Delaney, New Brunswick; three sons: Paul (Valerie), Grates Cove, Garry, Lower Island Cove and Robert, Northern Bay; ten grandchildren: Curtis, April (Kenny), Lance, Kathy (Shawn), Bradley (Christine), Michael, Colleen (Ben), Shylo (Cassey), Karyn and Kurt; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother: Mike, Gander; two sisters: Dorothy Ellis, Indianapolis, USA and Elizabeth (Frank) Power, Caplin Cove; special nephew: Gerard (Mary) Delaney, Gull Island; special friend: Ron Penney (Vonnie), Alberta; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Saturday, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m, Monday, 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, April 24 at 11:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Northern Bay.
