REXTON, NB – Domine Vautour, 86, of Rexton passed away
peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Saturday,
July 29, 2017. Born in Claire-Fontaine, she was the daughter
of the late Meleme Doucette and late Isabelle (Bulger) Doucette.
Domine was a member of the C.W.L. and the Rexton Golden Age Club.
Domine loved being surrounded by her children, her passion was
gardening and plants. She also loved spending time outside and
cooking.
Domine will be sadly missed by her five daughters, Jacqueline
Jones (late Clifton) of St. Charles, Isabelle Daigle of Aldouane,
Denise Julien of Moncton, Alexantine Burgess (Bernard) in St. Charles,
Claira Arseneau (Louis) of Boston, MASS; three sons, Aris Vautour of
Galloway (Paula), Alexis Vautour (Pauline) of St.
Louis, Hilaire Vautour of Rexton; twelve grandchildren,
Rodney, Susie, Sylvie, Rose, Alexandre, Marc, Eric, Melissa, Tammy,
Trevor, Natasha, Samantha and many great
grandchildren.
She is also survived by one sister, Marie Guimond (Raymond)
of St. Louis and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Patrick; one son, Rosimond; eight sisters, Henriette, Marianne,
Exelda, Dorina, Claira, Marie, Isabelle, Aline and six brothers,
Selime, Edmond, Ben, Israel, Meleme and her twin
Michel.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Wednesday at 11:00 am
until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be on
Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm, Immaculate Conception Roman
Catholic Church in Rexton. Donations in Domine’s
memory may be made to the NB Lung Association or charity of the
donor’s choice. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto
