Obituary of Dolores Miller
Miller, Dolores (nee Fedikow)
It is with open hearts and great sadness that the family of Dolores announce her peaceful passing on September 10, 2017 at Stedman Hospice/Hankinson House in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Gerald (Gerry) Miller and loving mother and best friend of Patricia Borda (Rob) all of Brantford. She will be lovingly remembered and also survived by her brother Frank Fedikow of Niagara Falls, cousins Helen (Paul) Letourneau of Fonthill, Louis (Janice) Tallis of Welland and Aunt Vera Worobec of Buffalo. Dolores was predeceased by her sister Helen Galandy of Port Colborne. Loved step-mother and mother in law to Ameila (Ian), Cora (Joe), Elizabeth (Sheldon) and Larissa (David). Cherished grandmother of Cassandra, Gabriella, Amber, Nolan, Jacob, Oliver, Aden, Gabriel, Alexander and Solomon. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and she devoted her life to the well-being of her family. A fantastic woman, gifted cook and worldly traveler with her husband Gerald. She will be dearly missed by all of her extended family and friends. Super-special thanks to Phyllis Bennett (Ross) for knowing what to do and say, all assisting BGH staff and teams, all Hankinson House staff and volunteers. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford. Interment of ashes will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery and Celebration of Life to follow at a later date. In memory of Dolores, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice Hankinson House would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Dolores in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
May God bless and watch over her. Cheers to everyone from Dolores! “Go Granny Go.”
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Dolores
